It started with a dream

 

    

     Around the world, children are suffering. They are facing an extreme lack of health care, food, school supplies and more. Some of them have never experienced life without the daily struggle to survive.

 

    All Children deserve to wake up with food on the table and to sleep knowing that their dreams are within reach. It is up to ensure that these children are not left behind.

     National Children’s Month is celebrated in November in the Philippines every year. This month-long celebration aims to give Filipino children access to a healthy environment, good education, and healthcare. Dr. Jose Rizal, the Philippines’ national hero, once said that the youth is the future of the nation, and investing in children is key for the betterment of the next generation. This holiday also comes from a place of empathy. As a third-world country, most families struggle financially, and it’s the children who suffer the most. This month highlights the ways we can help and support them.

      Every child odds unique value to this world. Every child is different kind of flower and all together make this world a beautiful garden.

       Kannawidan is a festivity which the City of Vigan celebrates every year. In this festival, the Ilocano people showcase cultural shows, native products and the talents of the Ilocanos.      Kannawidan Ylocos Festival became an annual festival that aims to create awareness on the preservation of the province' rich cultural heritage, practices and traditions, and a showcase of the different agriculture and industry products of the province.      There is a need to preserve our rich heritage and unique culture.
